About.

JMAdvisory is a blend of corporate recovery and corporate finance to protect and enhance client businesses.

Ever since qualifying, James Martin FCA has been advising people and businesses in financial difficulty, seeing many of them thrive as a result.  Nearly 20 years at PwC was followed by setting up the Birmingham office of Begbies Traynor and successively being head-hunted by Moore Stephens and Crowe Clark Whitehill.

In 2011 he created and saw through the PE backed buy out of an injection moulding business, which has subsequently seen a trade exit.  After 7 years back in practice, he is now going to use the experience of what can go awry, blended with the success stories of turnaround, to strengthen businesses and enhance value as adviser, investor or both.

He no longer takes insolvency appointments, but remains on the Council of R3 to stay in touch with the restructuring community, advocating early advice to achieve turnaround and avoid insolvency.

James Martin

Director

James lives in south Derbyshire and has worked throughout the Midlands and East Anglia.  He grew up in Sutton Coldfield and is closely connected with King Edward's School, Birmingham, and its near neighbour, Edgbaston Golf Club, when time permits.

He is also a keen photographer hence the images - not relevant but (some) surprisingly local.
